OUR HISTORY

The Tri-State Community Healthcare Center was founded in 2012 by a group of concerned community members, healthcare professionals, and business associates.

Together, they set out to address the financial and medical challenges facing the residents of Needles, California.

Their goal was to remove the financial barriers that  prevented low-income families from accessing essential health care and other support services.

Today, Tri-State Community Healthcare Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) offering primary and specialty care at nine (9) locations throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona. We are dedicated to bringing quality, compassionate care to uninsured, underinsured, and underserved individuals and families.

Consistent with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) requirements, we are governed by our board of directors, comprised of more than 51% health center patients. This ensures that the decisions of the board and organization are patient-centered. The remaining board members represent a wide variety of dedicated community professionals. Together, we are making a positive difference in the lives of those who need us the most.
